Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst with extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. Job Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to successfully carry out the following responsibilities:
- Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions related to capital investments, cost optimization, and profitability improvement within the petrochemical sector.
- Analyze and interpret financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to project the company’s financial performance, incorporating key industry variables and economic factors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the petrochemical industry.
- Collaborate with various departments, including operations, marketing, and engineering, to gather and analyze data, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to anticipate impacts on the company’s financial performance and advise on potential responses.
Reporting
Reports to Client Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 5 years in the petrochemical industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis software (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific financial metrics, cost structures, and market dynamics.
Minimum Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical , Metallurgical or Production)
- 10 Years of Proven experience as mechanical integrity / RBI engineer in Oil & Gas preferably upstream gas facility
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in another language is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
