Position overview
Risk Based Inspection (RBI) engineer who is experienced in development and implementation of RBI projects in Oil and Gas industry . The candidate shall have extensive knowledge of API 580 and API 581 and demonstrated record of successful projects implementation with reputed industrial consultants utilizing RBI/AIMS software/s.

Job Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to be able to successfully carry out the following responsibilities :
- Mechanical and operations data gathering from engineering document and drawings for pressure equipment (Pressure vessels , Columns , piping , heat exchangers , Air coolers , Storage tanks , Pressure relief devices) .
- Conduct systemization and piping circuiting of various process and utility units and Liaison with Corrosion Engineer in development of corrosion loops and corrosion loops definition and registers creation
- Consequence data gathering and liaison with Client various departments in identification , representative fluid , equipment production impact, asset damage cost and other relevant consequence data
- Populate probability & consequence of failure data in software up-loadable forms
- Assessment of inspection history and define inspection effectiveness as per API 581
Reporting
Reports to RBI Lead Engineer
Minimum Qualifications
- API 580 is mandatory in addition to of 2 of the following certificates :
API 510 , API 570 , API 653, API 571
- Certificate of completion of one or more of the following packages :
API RBI , RBMI, Synergi RBI Onshore , Galiom , APM , Palladio RBI
Minimum Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical , Metallurgical or Production)
- 10 Years of Proven experience as mechanical integrity / RBI engineer in Oil & Gas preferably upstream gas facility
Other Requirements
Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in Arabic is highly desirable. Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are required. Experience with data entry, internet research, and presentation software is a plus.

Position overview
The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety processes within the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of process safety management (PSM), hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies, along with a proven track record of successful project implementations in a similar setting. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in regulatory compliance, safety system design, incident investigation, and advanced risk assessment techniques to enhance the overall safety performance of our operations.

Job Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to be able to successfully carry out the following responsibilities:
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment:
- Conduct thorough hazard identification studies (HAZID), hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for various processes and equipment.
- Perform Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) to evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety barriers and identify gaps.
- Develop and implement Bowtie Analysis to visualize risk scenarios and manage potential threats and consequences.
Process Safety Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management systems in compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Integrate safety-in-design principles during the engineering phase to ensure inherent safety is built into new projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement safety instrumented systems (SIS) and safety instrumented functions (SIF) in accordance with IEC 61511 standards.
Safety Audits and Inspections:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, including PSM compliance audits, mechanical integrity inspections, and management system reviews.
- Utilize advanced inspection techniques, such as Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies, to prioritize inspection efforts based on risk.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
Incident Investigation:
- Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses using root cause analysis (RCA) techniques such as Five Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Prepare detailed incident reports, including recommendations for corrective and preventive actions, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and trend incident data to identify patterns and systemic issues, and develop proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to staff on process safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices, including PSM elements and risk assessment techniques
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and materials, including e-learning modules, to enhance the safety culture within the organization.
- Facilitate process safety workshops and safety drills to ensure preparedness and effective response to potential incidents.
Documentation and Records Management:
- Maintain and update comprehensive safety documentation, including process safety information (PSI), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety manuals.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of safety assessments, audits, and incident reports.
- Utilize software tools for safety information management, such as Process Safety Information Management Systems (PSIMS) and electronic document management systems (EDMS).
Reporting
Reports to Asset Risk Management (ARM) Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Certification in process safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, API standards, IEC 61511, and NFPA codes.
- Proficiency in advanced risk assessment tools and software, such as PHAST, BowTieXP, PHA-Pro, and other relevant tools.
Minimum Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering)
- 15 years of proven experience as a Process Safety Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in downstream operations.
Other Requirements
