Position overview
We are seeking a Senior Integrity, Governance, and Compliance Consultant with extensive experience in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and ethical practices within the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement robust systems that safeguard organizational integrity. The candidate should possess a proven record of advising senior management on compliance matters and enhancing organizational resilience through effective governance strategies.

Job Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to successfully carry out the following responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) programs tailored to the specific needs of the petrochemical industry.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on compliance issues, including regulatory requirements, ethical practices, and corporate governance principles.
- Lead the design and execution of internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitor and interpret changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, advising the organization on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels to educate and train staff on governance, integrity, and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to integrate compliance and governance considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect the organization from potential legal and reputational risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, highlighting compliance risks and recommending actions for improvement.
- Lead investigations into potential compliance violations, ensuring thorough documentation and appropriate corrective actions.

Reports to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CFE) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance, with at least 5 years in a senior role within the petrochemical industry.
- Deep understanding of regulatory environments, ethical standards, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing GRC frameworks in complex, multinational organizations.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in another language is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of GRC software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights on compliance and governance issues.
